Colored Theory is a twice-yearly zine emerging from the creative and strategic work housed within WAVI. It’s a platform for unpublished thinkers exploring how identity is being shaped by the shifting terrains of culture, community, and technology.
Each issue features raw, early-stage ideas—insightful, unfinished, and fully alive. This isn’t a stage for polished takes or professional pundits. It’s a space for first publications. For people who haven’t been published yet not because they aren’t ready, but because the world hasn’t caught up.
Fall 2025: Identity in Flux
The first issue centers on identity—how it’s formed, fractured, and reimagined in response to cultural shifts and technological speed. We’re looking for pieces that investigate this moment and challenge what comes next.
We’ll feature ~20 contributors in this first run. Limited print.
